Family Pictures

Our neighbor, Emmie, is starting a career in photography. I knew she was a talented photographer but I didn't know she was this good. She did such a great job!! We went to a house that I fell in love with a few years ago, and the owners are so nice. They just let people take pictures there for free (which reminds me, I still need to make a thank you treat for them). It is the cutest place, they collect antique things. Halloween

Halloween was pretty fun this year. I am not going to lie though, I was Halloweened out by the time it actually got here. We had so many activities BEFORE Halloween, fun and ridiculous at the same time. We had the school Math Night Spooktacular, the Church Carnival/trunk or treat, Carma's preschool carnival, kids dressing up for school, a couples Halloween party, a family Halloween party, a neighborhood party, Michaels work trick or treating, then actual Halloween. I feel like I am missing something too, but phew. I aint gonna lie, kind of glad it is over! But it was really fun. I love dressing up the kids and dressing up. It is so fun! I need to swear off chocolate because I feel so sick from too much. Ahhhh who am I kidding I will eat a ton tomorrow too! tee hee.

A neighbor friend's birthday is on Halloween and they celebrate birthdays pretty big. So they were SO SWEET to invite Judson to ride along with them in the limousine. Yes, that is right he got to celebrate Halloween with lots of cute girls (only 2 boys), go to a pizza party and tricker treating in a LIMO! WHAT! He had so much fun. He didn't appreciate the girl part, but I told him in a couple of years he will think the girl part of it would be the most awesome! He scrunched his nose and said "Na ah!"

I am glad that Juddy got to go have fun in the Limo, but I missed him. I really did. But I didn't want him to miss out on such fun.
Any guess on who this weirdo is? Nope, it isn't the sasquach. It is Michael! He had me shave his head except for eyebrows and paint the back of it. I did a pretty crappy job, but now that I know more of how it should look I will do a better job next time. It was so funny. I am just proud that he dressed up!
Amiee came and spent trick or treating w/ us. It was SO MUCH FUN. That makes two weekends in a row that we have spent together. So fun! (We have been BFF's since high school she lives and hour and a half away now:( So it is always a treat to hang out).
Amiees boy is the adorable Skunk. What a cutie stinker!!! I loved watching him waddle in it. He is SOOO CUTE!! The first couple of doors he wanted to eat the candy every time he got a piece. haha it is so cute! Carma LOVED tricker treating. She was so funny. Last year she was scared after the second door, so I am glad she likes it now. She has grown up so much recently.
I was a goth fairy just in case you were wondering. Carma is my kitty cat. She is THE CUTEST!! I love that cutie girl. She LOVED dressing up. I am pretty sure she wore the kitty outfit three days straight.
Here are some pictures of her school carnival. She had so much fun. I was amazed at the effort the Preschool put into it. There were several booths. We were there for almost 2 hours and didn't get bored. I really love that she is growing up and we can enjoy time together like this. It was really so much fun to play games with her. She even went down a giant inflatable slide ALL BY HERSELF! WOW! I also have to give high fives to me b/c usually I stress out bringing Wyatt and Carma to a public event like this, but I wasn't stressed at all, it was really fun!

Wyatts bday

Wyatts bday party was last week, so I am a week behind. But that is better than a month or more, like I have been. We had fun. The theme was BYU football "tailgate" theme. We got him a BYU football jersey .. he looked SO STINKING CUTE). We invited all of the T family over and most of them made it, so that means we had a pretty full house. All of the cousins. It was so fun. I love doing parties... until about 30 mins before..then I love it during the party.

I made a football cake. I again have sworn off cake making, but I know I am lying b/c I end up doing one every birthday. But I have to say that it was DELICIOUS! I did a chocolate/white chocolate layer, a chocolate layer w/ ganache in between the layers, then mouse in between the football layer. Sour cream chocolate icing on the football and cream cheese icing on the field. It could have looked better but it was So yummy, if I do say so myself.. and I DO!

Wyatt had fun playing in the cake, it took a little convincing and Michael had to give him a spoon and help him dig in. Once he tasted it he LOVED it. Imagine that.

Almost ready for Halloween

Holy cow, there are so many events for Halloween that is starting to compare w/ Christmas. Ok, not really, but I can't believe how many events we have this year. I am not complaining, YET.. (Ask me after I get the kids in costumes 5 times and/or dealing w/ the sugar highs and lows).
Judson had the grand idea of painting pumpkins. He painted the green part (most of it) of Mike Wasoski and was done. I on the other hand couldn't stop painting. It was like a new addiction for a few days. (note: Michael painted Hello Kitty and Jack the pumpkin king). It is SO much easier to pant rather than carve. Although, Judson really wants to carve one.

Mission Reunion

I had my 12 year mission reunion this year. It was a big one, I suppose b/c President Snow has been home for 10 years. I can't believe I almost didn't go b/c I was insecure about my weight.. (I HATE that I am like that!). Once I walked in the room with all of these beautiful sisters I felt completely at home and in peace. I can't describe how much I love these women. I have a different relationship with these people than anyone else. It is hard to describe, but I suppose heavenly would be a good word. My heart if full even thinking about it and it just brings a smile to my face.

My MTC comp, Heather was my date. She is the best! She looks amazing!! And is so smart.. and still single! I think she hasn't found a guy who deserves her yet b/c she is honestly so amazing.
Natalie flew in from CA with her 6 week old baby, are you kidding. She is super mom! It was so fun. The ride back from SLC seemed like a minute b/c we had so much fun talking.

Yukari, one of my favorite companions, (who I haven't seen for 10 years) came to stay with us so. I had the BEST time w/ her and her family. Her little boy is THE CUTEST! Half Japanese, half white.. ARE YOU KIDDING with his EXTREME CUTENESS. My urge to bite (lovingly) and squeeze was at an all time high when he was around. OMGosh He is SO CUUUUTTTEEE!!! I honestly couldn't stop staring at him... even though he didn't want much to do w/ me. He was much to busy walking around exploring. Unfortunately she wouldn't let me keep him. I tried. I told her she could have more but I can't. But she still declined:) I guess I should start the adoption papers. I have honestly always wanted to have an Asian baby. I don't know why... well probably b/c they are DARLING!! and my belief is that there are girls in China who need adopting. We will see, who knows what Heavenly Father has in store for us.

We went to Temple Square.. on Saturday.. DURING conference. Can you say BUSY.. NO PARKING, Mormons EVERYWHERE.. Which means lots of good looking people who are very polite.. OK, the good looking part is true and the polite is mostly true...haha:) But it was the only day we could go, and Michael warned us. But I am still glad we went. It is so beautiful and the renovations are amazing, and the missionary tools everywhere are REALLY improved.

I can't believe it has been 2 months with no post again. I can't believe how fast time is flying. I can't decide if this is a good or bad thing. On the one hand I definitely am not bored, on the other hand my kids are growing up so fast and I don't have time to do everything I need/want to do.

Life has been busy. Couldn't name one thing that I have been doing, just busy. Oh, I did redecorate.. scratch that.. decorate my room. FINALLY. It only has taken 3.5 years to do it. HURRAY!

Judson update: He made straight A's so far and his teacher just loves him. (Secretly I think he has a crush on her, but you didn't hear that from me. Mrs. Bonita don't say nothin' bout nobody). He would KILL me for even thinking that much less sharing that info with you. But... you wont tell will you? I wouldn't blame him for crushing on her, she is a doll and is such a fun teacher. She finds really fun ways to keep the kids involved and interested. I am SO grateful for this since third grade was when I decided school SUCKED. I have to say that he is in the magical stage for me. And this is not just for the "blog sugar coating crap." Nine is AWESOME. He is starting to get more jokes, teasing is more fun, we are reading Harry Potter together, he is fun to take to the store (as long as I warn him that we are goign to be a while before we go). He does throw the occasional fit, but only when he is over tired. I am trying to enjoy every minute and hopefully lay the foundations for him to stay close when he is a teenager.

Carma update: she started school. She loves it. She was in the four year old class, but her teacher felt that she wasn't on the level and she suggested that we move her to the 3 year old class and continue getting tested. (We had already done some testing). So now she is in the 3 year old class and it was also suggested that we put her in a transitional preschool since she tested below or almost below level at most categories at Alpine testing centers. She is so super smart on some things, but on other things, I just don't understand how her brain works. I hope they can teach me how to work with her and teach her. I am so grateful that there are so many resources for kids these days. I feel so blessed that we can learn how she learns and teach her in a way that she understands. She is such a sweetie pie. I just want to squeeze her. She LOVES school and it is so amazing to see her learn so much and grow up. She is fully potty trained (only had one accident since she decided that she was going to do it.. AMAZING. And a few weeks ago she decided that she didn't need to hold her poo in anymore. She is amazing!!)

Wyatt is growing up so fast. He is standing on his own, but doesn't want to try walking yet. He turns one on Friday. I can't believe it has already been a year. He is the cutest baby on the planet. He is so playful and always has a flirty playful look on his face. I guess b/c we all tease him, he loves it. I just noticed (Ok, it wasn't me but Michael who noticed) yesterday that he is getting three teeth in all at the same time.. and 2 are i-teeth (and supposedly those are hard to teeth, but since I don't remember my teething stage I couldn't confirm this myth). I will ask him what he thinks. Right now he is hmmming and trying to steal Carma's toys. I guess he figures if he hummmms maybe she wont notice.. like lulling food from a bear or something. It doesn't look to be working, she is a bit too clever.

Me on the other hand. What am I up to? hmmmm Not much comes to mind, but I swear I am so busy that I make a to do list and prioritize and still don't have the time to get everything done. Maybe I need a time management class. But just to give you an idea, I have been working on this dang post for 4 hours and with all of the interruptions and distractions I am still not finished. I don't know how working moms do it. BRB... now make that 4 1/2 hours. NO JOKE.

August 2009

Ok, so some of these pictures are from late July. But.. since it has been a month since i have posted I had to post them.

Carma in her Tu-tu that Aunt Nonnie made for her while she was visiting. This is a TERRIBLE picture.. the lighting in the studio is terrible. I will have to retake one b/c this is TOO CUTE!!! She looks cute in anything, but out of control CUTE in a tutu. Her new thing is making up words for things she doesn't know what they are. Big words too. She didn't know what a label maker was called and she named it something, but I can't remember what it was. It was so funny. She called it that for hours, so I am mad that I can't remember. She has SUCH an imagination! She LOVES to sing and perform for anyone. All of the primary teachers tell me how funny and cute she is because she LOVES to be infront helping and she knows ALL of the words better than most of the older kids. She is prett amazing with remembering words to songs. I love to sneak in there and watch her.

Judson helped teach Wyatt how to crawl. I must say that he did a fantastic job teaching him b/c Wyatt is SUPER fast now. Judson is the best big brother and helps so much with Wyatt. Even today he asked if he could help take care of Wyatt for me while I cooked. HE asked ME. I was like.. hmmm what do you want, but he really was just being sweet. SO SWEET!! The best kid EVER!!

I swear if Wyatt gets any cuter I don't know what I am going to do. This kid is THE CUTEST!! His personality is coming out now and he is just too sweet. He already knows when we are teasing and he loves it. He is so laid back. He LOVES to dance. I love it! I am going to eat him up.. those chubby legs and two teeth.. OH MY! SCRUMPTIOUS!
This is NOT chocolate and THANK GOODNESS it isn't poop either!!! It is my make-up. He had so much fun with this!

Celebrating TEN years!!!

Michael and I are celebrating our tenth anniversary today. Well, we actually celebrated a couple of days earlier so Dana could babysit for us. (THANKS SO MUCH DANA!!!! that was SO sweet of you for watching the kids... and on your vacation!! You are SO awesome!!!)

Anyway, we had so much fun and it is so great to remember how much I enjoy being around Michael and to realize how much fun we have together. It makes me feel so much younger to not have kids around me... I am so happy to know that I remember how to relax and not worry... and just have fun. Love it! I mean, I have fun w/ my kids but ... well, you know... just not as fun.

We went to the Hotel Park City.... 5 star hotel... should give them a 10. BEAUTIFUL!!! Breathtakingly BEAUTIFUL!! I loved it and never wanted to leave. I even slept like a baby there. I never am relaxed enough to sleep in a new place. I HIGHLY recommend it.. the price was amazing too. We stayed in the cottage that they upgraded for us since it was our anniversary. SO SWEET!
Here is a link if any of you are interested in a get away that is pretty reasonable but seems like you are spending a fortune. Hotel Park City Did I mention Ruth Chris Steak house.... my mouth is watering just thinking about it. We started w/ the Crab cakes... HELL-O!! So good!!! Michael had the fillet and I had the Ahi Tuna w/ red pesto. OH MY GOSH. Y'all know that I am a complete food snob and don't like many restaurants. Well, this is worth every penny.. it is pricey, but SO worth it. I don't like any bread puddin' outside of New Orleans, but HOLY CRAP! AMAZING! The whiskey sauce was to die for. Michael had the banana cream pie.. it was good, but I didn't LOVE it.

Ok, enough about the food. We had SO much fun. We went shopping, hung out, and went to the Olympic park. That was pretty fun too. I want to go back and take the kids. I think they would like it. There are kids under 8 doing CRAZY jumps off of the .. I don't even know what they are called.. but it was amazing.

Yup, we had FUN!!! It was way too fast, I need at least a week more. Maybe in 2 years I will feel comfortable leaving Wyatt.

Oh yeah, I have a blog...

Wow it has been A LONG LONG Time. Too long. Every week I say "this sunday I am going to update my blog" and it never happens. So it is 11:15pm and here I am. I have to do it before I go to bed.
So many things have happened since that I would love to blog about but... I have no time.. hence my absence of blogging.
Some highlights: Ben and Becky's visit in May. It was SO fun and I nWever wanted them to leave. I am in love w/ Belle and Brenna (my nieces).

Judson played machine pitch for the first time and I don't even know if I got pictures.. dang it. He has advanced to blue belt in Karate. Hurray Judson. He also has the most points in his class. GO JUDSON. He turns nine in a month... WHAT! Crazy. Poor kid his birthday starts the day before school. Nice present.

Carma started Dance. She loves it and I am pretty sure it is the funniest thing I have ever seen. She is in her own world, but then again so are the other girls. In fact one of the girls sat there and licked the bat (they use as a prop) for about 5 minutes straight.. up and down the bat. I was about to pee my pants laughing . Carma just runs around and does her own thing half the time. But I honestly think she is getting better each week at listening.

Wyatt is growing up so fast. He is sitting up, pulling himself up on things, crawling, eating finger foods and he even drinks out of a cup all by himself. It is so cute. He actually can tip the cup and do it. He is the sweetest baby in the world. Dana and I took him out to eat with us and he just sits in the highchair and just chills out. He is so easy. He still doesn't sleep through the night but it is OK. Only wakes up once or twice. I can deal with that. He has actually slept through the night three times the past month.
