He does this when he pees, plays with toys, colors, bowls, watches superhero shows.. anything that excites him.
He was going to each plant as he watered them asking "Are you thirsty plant?" "Are you thirsty? Are you Thirsty?" It was hilarious. He would even say "yum yum yum" in behalf of the plants.
