Judson's Graduation

Graduation

Judson graduation was yesterday. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen! He is so cute.. and smart!! His teach, Ms Callie is so amazing. She did the best job and I feel lucky that she was Judson's first teacher. They each had to say a part and I was worried that he wouldn't say it, but he did a great job. They sang the CUTEST songs. My favorite was "America". I just loved the entire program, but here are some of the highlights.

Hey Jared! Happy birthday. I hope you had fun!
I had the kids sing "Happy birthday for you". Miss song bird wasn't in the mood for singing though. Judson was trying (or at least moving his mouth). Sorry all you can hear is me though!! Michael thinks it is funny because he thinks they look like they are prisoners. hahaha. They actually wanted to do it and I didn't have to make them. ~ Carma was just watching me play the video and was singing with it. Little turd, NOW she does it.

May 27

So I have to recap the week. It has been kind of busy, but I guess that is life. I went to Judson's school for the last time this year. I wish I would have taken pictures, I need to remember to take my camera places. Cleaned and worked a lot.. boring. Helped with a few discussions. Went to neighbors Wii party. That game box is COOL! We played bowling. It actually calculates how hard and straight you are throwing it. I want one. We went to the Utah Symphony last night. It was amazing! I can't believe the talent that was in one room! We double dated (or triple dated) with Michaels parents and his brother and wife. It was nice to spend time with them and to not have kids around us.
I better be getting ready for church. I am having to motivate myself these days to go. It is so boring to me, and Carma is a nutcase. She just screams the entire meeting and hates nursery. And she gets sick 90% of the time we bring her. We, the activity day girls, cleaned the toys for our activity so hopefully that will help. ?? I think I need an attitude adjustment. I know I do. I suppose I should humble myself rather than be "compelled" to be humble.

Cleaning

Those of you who know me know that I HATE cleaning. I decided that my kids need to start doing the majority of it around here now. Why wait until they are older? I will do it now. Carma's new chores is dishes.
Just kidding, I wish this were true. I am HORRIBLE at making my kids clean up. I made Judson clean 2 rooms today and he whined the entire time. Music, sweet music!
Yesterday was a crazy busy day. I cleaned in the morning and worked on putting my stuff of Ebay so I can make some money. I volunteered at Judson's school. (Kind of sad that was my last time helping in class, well we will have a end of the school year party, but that was my last time helping like that. Dang time flies! I can't believe he is going to be in first grade in less than 3 months). I got back Just in time to make 4 loaves of bread and get ready for Activity days. (Didn't have time to BAKE the bread so my neighbor had to bake if for me during activity days) got back just in time to make "food storage" crepes and Thai peanut noodles for our ward activity.
I have to complain about my ward for a minute. I am not even joking when I say that we NEVER have ANY Ward activities that are NOT about food storage and that is ALL our Bishop EVER talks about. It is crazy and very annoying. He is very dooms day about it. I believe in begin prepared, but dang, I think he is going a tad overboard. But then again, I don't want to be like "yo, Bishop, can ya chill out a bit?" then the earthquakes hits and we are SOL. So, as I am typing I am getting the feeling I need to shut-up, do my food storage and be grateful that the only thing I can complain about him is that he is a little nuts about food storage b/c I have had a MUCH worse bishop in the past.
Today was a little less stressful. I cleaned my house to get prepared for the missionaries. We are teaching THE COOLEST girl! Her name is Carolina. She is 21 and from Peru. She is the most amazing girl; so sweet, smart, pretty, great with children (Carma loves her) and lives very close to God. She said today that she has always had a special relationship with God and that He has led her here to Utah so she can find us. That she is so grateful that she is finally finding answers that she has been searching for. It is amazing to hear her humble prayers and to hear her talk about how much God loves her. I am so grateful for the opportunity to teach her. Michael spoke in church a few months ago about missionary work and I have been wanting to have enough Faith and courage to do missionary work. I said a half faithed prayer that I would find someone to teach. She called not too long after and said she wanted to take the discussions and Michael needed a woman to be involved. It was amazing and I am so happy to be a part of it.
Today I got some flip flops for Carma. She LOVES them but she can't walk in them, but dang it if she isn't trying her darnedest to. She was so ready for the nap when she saw them on the floor and she was so grumpy and mad when they were falling off. She would demand that I put them on over and over again. She improved a tiny bit but I am going to try to rig them so they will stay on.
